Meet Fredrik Sjostedt

A business owner in our community.

Business: SiniusCube Consulting Ltd.

Trade: AI in business, particularly around processes and automation.

Swedish by birth, British by three decades of practice. I’ve spent 25+ years leading B2B technology marketing across Europe and the Globe, building and running teams at companies including Barco, Extreme Networks, VMware, Symantec and Apple. The roles got bigger over the years (VP roles, sixty people, a budget north of €25M), but the part I kept coming back to was the building: how you take a complicated idea and turn it into something an organisation can actually run with. These days I do that through SiniusCube, helping growing businesses by fixing GTM processes, putting AI to work properly with enablement, guidance and policies, rather than just talking about it. MBA from Henley Business School. Married, two adult sons and two dogs who think they run the diary.

Where are you located?

I am personally based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, trading and working in the UK as well as internationally, across Europe and the US.

What does your business do?

SiniusCube helps growing businesses fix their GTM processes and use AI to clear out the manual work that’s holding them back. In practice that means strategy and hands-on enablement: finding where AI genuinely earns its place, redesigning the processes around it, and getting teams confident enough to run it without me in the room.

The unusual part is that I build as well as advise. I’m not handing over a slide deck and leaving. I’ll sit in the tools, prototype the thing, and show people how it runs. Twenty-five years leading marketing and go-to-market teams sits underneath it, so the technology always serves a commercial goal rather than the other way round.

How did it all begin? What drive you to start the business?

SiniusCube actually started back in 2015. I’d had a long corporate career and wanted to work directly on the problems I found most interesting: People, strategy, transformation, the unglamorous systems work that decides whether a good plan survives contact with reality.

Then a prospective client offered me a full-time role I couldn’t turn down, and the business went quiet for the best part of a decade. I reactivated it in 2025 with a clearer view of where I add the most value and, frankly, more curiosity than ever about what the latest tools make possible. The thing that drove me both times is the same. I like being close to people and the work.

What are you personally passionate about the most? What motivates or drives you?

Making things work. I’m at my best in the gap between a strategy and its execution, the place where most good intentions quietly die. I genuinely enjoy the hands-on side too, the building and the problem-solving, which surprises people who assume a marketing background means staying well clear of the technical detail. Helping a team see what’s possible and then watching them get there on their own is hard to beat.

Who is your ideal customer?

Established small and mid-sized businesses, typically a number of years in, growing but starting to feel the drag. I usually work directly with the owner or founder, and the decision sits with them. The pattern is almost always the same: success has outrun the systems.

Processes that were fine at one size have turned into manual, repetitive work that quietly caps how fast the business can grow. My job is to take that friction out, rebuild processes, enable people, usually with AI and smarter workflow, so the business scales on its capability rather than on how many hours its people can put in. Sector matters less than the shape of the problem.

Recent clients have been in defence tech, SaaS, publishing and in specialist recruitment.

What type of business owners would you like to connect with?

Founders and owners building something ambitious who aren’t afraid of change. Fellow consultants and operators I can learn from and occasionally team up with. And anyone wrestling with how to use AI sensibly in their own business, whatever the sector. Good conversations tend to lead somewhere.
